The designer's inspiration for this gorgeous 17 1/2" necklace was the piece that Hilary Swank wore at the Academy Award Oscar Ceremonies. Of course, one of the major differences between this one and hers is a couple of hundred thousand dollars! This version is totally hand made and has a total of 15 marquise-cut deep simulated amethyst Austrian crystal stones, which is the equivalent in size of 15 full carats! It has a total of 12 round clear genuine Austrian crystal stones, is the equivalent of an additional 3 carats! It is made with a very unusual twisted serpentine chain with a high quality lobster-claw catch, and is generously plated with 100 mils of GENUINE 14KT GOLD
